DuraCotton 50 Transfers have become the choice of small, medium and large volume operators. Simply print, press and peel. Detailed Pressing Instructions are located here. Recommended Printers – Copiers along with Paper Settings are also documented.
There is a slight hand associated with DuraCotton 50 until washed once. Thereafter, there is ZERO hand.
Initially, there may be some difficulty printing DuraCotton 50 as the coating is heat sensitive and requires a low fuser temperature. We recommend test printing in PLAIN PAPER setting. HEAVY, THICK, ULTRA THICK etc are too thick (hot) for DuraCotton 50 and the paper will jam. Given your printer – copier, you may see loose toner after printing (called ‘toner offset’) in Plain Paper. If so, you can either warm up your printer – copier with a few plain paper prints before switching to DuraCotton 50. Or, switch to one setting up in paper thickness to bring a bit more fuser heat to DuraCotton.
If you are an Oki Printer user, Labels 2 and 1 are also excellent choices for the paper setting. Labels 2 has a somewhat warmer printing temperature than Labels 1. If your setting is too cool (thin), you will experience loose toner – if so, try Labels 2.
Ultimately, DuraCotton 50 is an excellent laser transfer paper featuring strong transferred colors, extended wash endurance that your customers will appreciate (increasing your sales and profits).
